Teen Summer Reading Club Deluxe
Read a book, magazine, website, or comic. Listen to a CD. Watch a movie. Then fill in a ballot at the library or online to be eligible for a weekly prize draw. Drop by the Teen Zone any Tuesday or Friday between 11 am and 1 pm to talk about what you have been reading/viewing/listening to. We’ll provide some snacks, and be available to help you find some more great stuff.
Gaming @ The Library - for ages 11 to 18

Where in Saint John is Zaphod?
Zaphod will visit a different uptown location every week. We will post his photo in the Teen Zone and online and you need to guess where he is. Enter your answer in our ballot box and we will draw a winner from all the correct answers for the week. Prizes will be given.
Crafts and Games
Craft activities and puzzles See what’s available in the Teen Zone D’Ados, any time the library is open. Chess & Checkers on demand Ask at the circulation desk to borrow a chess or checkers set to use in the library, any time the library is open.
Graphic Adaptation Contest
Take a scene or passage from your favourite play, poem, novel, song or book and make a graphic adaptation of it. Paper, pencils and pencil crayons are available in the Teen Zone. Deadline Friday, July 29th.
Creative Writing Contest
Bring your own poems, short stories or comics and drop them off at the Circulation Desk with your name and contact number. Deadline, Friday, July 19th.
